[Photo| the-star]Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi says that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) should be blamed for the ongoing poll chao across the country.Speaking to BBC on Friday during an interview on Focus on Africa, Mudavadi said that the election was forced on Kenyans, which was wrong. He further accused police of intimidating voters."You cannot have police all over the place and tell people to go and vote. That is intimidation," said Mudavadi. The ANC leader also noted that NASA withdrew from the repeat election since the playing ground was not level. While maintaining that the electoral body has created a crisis in the country, he pointed out that the IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati had told the nation that he cannot guarantee them a credible election."This is double speak because the IEBC itself told us that it cannot hold a credible election. The commission itself has created a crisis," Mudavadi noted."We all feel the pinch as well but the IEBC is the problem. Had the elections been free and fair this would not have taken place," added Mudavadi.
