Munyua who was speaking in Murera, Ruiru on Sunday said that those asking for party elections are confused.

“We are now supposed to be working to deliver our promises to Kenyans, not arguing about who should lead the Party. We will think about the Party in 2017,” he said.

Munyua added that the time to put in place the party structures will be done at the appropriate time saying it is very early.

"The party is in the good hands of the Chairman John Sakaja and the Secretary General Onyango Oloo. Therefore, those complaining out there about changes should remember that,” he said.

According to Munyua, the two were the Party founders and pushing them to step down for elections to be held is tantamount to hijacking the party.

"Those not contented can leave the Party because this rush is totally unacceptable,” he added.
