Kesses Parliamentary aspirant Dr Kiprop Mishra has told off a section of Uasin Gishu leaders who have been accusing some officials in the office of the Deputy President for trying to influence the Jubilee party nominations in the county.
Speaking to the press at his campaign Secretariat offices in the outskirts of Eldoret town, Mishra said the office of the Deputy President had no way of interfering with the nominations.
"The DP and his office has never interfered with the nomination process. Those speaking against the staff are cowards and need to know that they cannot earn votes by attacking them," said Dr Mishra.
He asked those aggrieved with the nomination process to use proper channels of addressing their issues.
"We need to solve our issues in boardrooms not washing our linen in public to gain political mileage" noted the aspirant.
Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter have been accusing officials in the office of the Deputy President for having a list of preferred candidates in the North Rift region, whom they were planning to help win the nominations.
