Three people were arrested on new year's day as the police destroyed bhang worth Sh1 Million at a secret farm in Kerina Kisii County.
Confirming the incident on Sunday Kisii South OCPD David Mbulukwa said that the police destroyed the bhang farm following a tip-off by members of the public.
“The farm was almost half an acre and it was bordered by a forest hence it was not easy for one to know until the public secretly informed the police whom I led in the operation,” he added.
The police chief added that they have already arrested three men who are currently being held at Gesonso police station as more investigation continue.
Mbulukwa added that they will ensure all drug traffickers from the area connected to the farm are arrested and arraigned in court.
