Three bishops died Friday night in a grisly road accident along the Embu-Makutano road.

The African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) bishops perished on the spot after their Toyota wish rammed into the other vehicle.

The trio were travelling to Nairobi after a church function in Embu.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to the Mwea Mission Hospital morgue.
