The duo of Sayed Nasrollah Ebrahimi and Abdolhosein Gholi Safaee from Iran and Moses Keyah Mboga from Kenya were arrested by Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) after they were found filming and photographing the Embassy.

Senior Principal Magistrate of the Milimani Law Coart, Joyce Gadani, sent the trio back into custody until December 6 when the court will make a ruling.

During the hearing, Gadan dismissed an attempt by Ebrahimi and Safaee’s lawyers to bar the media from taking photographs and covering proceedings, saying that Kenyans have a right to know if their security is threatened and added that the two do not enjoy diplomatic immunity

"In the court's opinion the two suspects do not enjoy diplomatic immunity to warrant the court's protection and should therefore be remanded awaiting ATPU's detectives to complete their investigations," the magistrate ruled.
