Fire razes down property in Kijiji, Lang'ata. [Photo| Twitter]Three people have been confirmed dead after fire razed down Kijiji slum in Lang'ata, Nairob on Sunday night. This is according to the National Disaster Management Deputy Director of Communications Pius Maasai Reports indicate more bodies might be recovered. The fire which started at around 8.00pm destroyed property of unknown value as it spread quickly thus making it difficult to put it off. Several houses, entertainment joints and business structures were burnt down to ashes with hundreds of resident being left homeless. The cause of the fire is yet to be established. Affected residents are calling on Kenyans of good will to assist them food, clothing and shelter.
