It has now emerged that controversial businessman Jimmy Wanjigi is no longer needed in NASA.
This is after he promised to finance NASA’s campaigns during the August elections.
According to the Star, Wanjigi had promised to pay for a tallying center, poll agents and the production of media advertisements.
The publication further reports that Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya) all told Raila they did not want Wanjigi because “he did not help NASA as expected and instead caused the team problems,”
The decision to oust Wanjigi was reached at the weekend in Kilaguni, Taita Taveta.
The principals had retreated to plan on the campaign strategy.
On Tuesday, NASA is expected to campaign in Gusii land.
