A boda boda collided head on with a saloon car along the Nyeri-Nyahururu highway on Sunday, leaving three people dead.

The three who were riding on the motorcycle, died on the spot, while the saloon car driver survived with minor injuries.

The wreckage was towed to Nyeri Central Police.

Confirming the incident, Nyeri Central Traffic Base commander Obadiah Rikura said, “At the moment officers are examining the wreckage so it is too early to give a conclusive statement. But I can confirm it was fatal.”
