A woman and two children were Tuesday evening pulled out from a seven-storey building which collapsed in Kware area, Embakasi.
All were alive.
According to Nairobi county head of Security Francis Munyambu, the said woman experienced difficulties in breathing but has since recovered and is well.
“A woman and two children have been rescued alive at the collapsed building in Kware. The woman had difficulties in breathing but she is fine,” said Munyambu.
Munyambu also said that the three had since been taken to the Nairobi West hospital for more treatment.
Deputy Director and Communication Officer National Disaster Management Unit Mwachi Pius Masai also confirmed that the woman, a boy and a girl had been rescued alive.
