Kenyans Patrick Gitonga, Allan Oyende, and Willy Mwangi registered wins in the second last day of World scrabble championship that is been held in Kenya.
The long week competition is scheduled to end on Sunday.
Gitonga continued his impressive performance after humbling Andrew Goldbang of Australia 484-327 points.
Oyende beat Abafi Shan 524-330 points while Willy Mwangi claimed 433-320 points win over Calid Doll of USA.
The championship which kicked off on Monday will end on Sunday with overall winners receiving medals, trophies and 2million shillings.
Kenya is been represented by a total 13 players. Meanwhile, the 33rd edition of Inter-bank games officially kicked off at Kenya Monetary School of studies.
In football, defending champions Consolidated Bank team started their title defense on a high note beating CFC Stanbic Bank 2-0. Equity bank humbled Post Bank 3-0 after Chris Chacha, Felix Baraza and Derrick Ayisi scored a goal each.
In Volleyball, Barclays Bank of Kenya claimed a 2-0 set win over Central Bank of Kenya in the ladies category.
Cooperative Bank claimed a 2-0 win over Central Bank of Africa.
The one-week game competitions will end on 18th this month with winners in different sporting activities receiving medals and trophies.
