Two people died in Siaya and one in Kisumu following Monday's confrontations between the police and Cord supporters calling for the IEBC commissioners to vacate office, turned bloody.
One of those who died who was allegedly not part of the protestors was shot near Tivoli centre and rushed to Aga Khan Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The anti-IEBC demos which have largely been concentrated in Kisumu and Nairobi have spread to other counties such Mombasa, Siaya, Kakamega, Meru and Nakuru.
Four others were admitted to Kisumu East District Hospital with gunshot wounds after the anti-riot police engaged the protesters.
Journalists were not spared either as police lobbed teargas into a double cabin pick-up that was carrying media crews covering the demos.
This comes even as Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale was arrested while leading demonstrations in his home turf.
In Mombasa, the County Assembly Speaker Thadeus Rajwayi and Junda Member of County Assembly Paul Onje were among 10 people arrested during the demos.
