Police in Nairobi are investigating two counts of men who were found dead in their houses.
In the first case, the body of a 54-year-old man in Kayole was discovered after neighbours complained of a strange rotting smell on the New Year eve.
When they opened the house, they found the decomposing body.
According to Kayole OCPD Joseph Gichangi, the man lived alone and what caused his death has not been established.
“The body had decomposed by the time it was discovered and it seems to be a sudden death or murder. We are investigating,” he said.
A postmortem report is yet to come out.
Elsewhere in Mukuru slums, two other men were discovered dead in their different houses.
The bodies have been moved to the mortuary.
One of the men was found with blood oozing from his mouth in a case police suspect to be murder.
