Three ‘notorious’ gangsters have been killed by police in Nakuru, Nakuru county police commander Hassan Barua has said.

Barua said the three were killed Thursday afternoon during a police shoot out at Industrial area after they defied orders to surrender. 

The three were reportedly planning to steal from a trader.

Police got a tip from members of the public and waylaid them.

An AK47 rifle, a Ceska pistol and several bullets were recovered.
