Dagoreti North MP Simba Arati, ODM Nairobi Chairman George Aladwa, and former Raila's aide Caroli Omondi have been summoned by Nairobi police commandant over the allegation of  recruiting a militia in South Sudan to topple the government in 2017.

The three have been invited to record a statement for claims of recruiting a militia to topple the Jubilee government.

The trio is set to meet the Director of Criminal Investigation in his Kiambu offices on Tuesday at 8 am.

Aladwa confirmed the reports, saying that he plans to honour the summons.

“Caroli, Arati and I have received the summons. A student claimed that we have been recruiting youth as militia in South Sudan,” Aladwa said.

“We don’t fear anything and the three of us will be there at 8am,” he added.

The allegation which was fueled  by a university student in one of his blogs.

The student who has since been brought before a Nairobi Court on allegations of giving false misleading information said the militia is being organised by the three ODM politician to ensure Raila ascends to power in 2017.
