Three girls in Omobera Girls Secondary linked to fire incident that left two dormitories burnt on Saturday have been arrested and investigations have been launched

Speaking when she visited the school facility on Tuesday, Kisii County Commissioner Kula Hache said that they have already sent special team to all schools affected to ensure that the calibrate are brought to book.

“We are not in a position to give the suspects room to breath as the law has to take its course and we must arrest all involved,” she added.

The commissioner added that the fire incidents in all the schools in Kisii County are questionable and she will ensure that within a week’s time, she gets a solution to end the mess that has been witnessed in the county.

Omobera area police Chief Japheth Mwirichia said that the three arrested girls are suspects and they believe they will help them in further investigations.

“So far we have arrested three girls and we are looking forward to ensure we arrest more and all those involved,” he added.
