It also emerged on Monday that the late MP had visited State House after Christmas, four days before his demise.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria during Mr Too's burial at Kapseret on Monday said he spoke to Mr Too 20 minutes before he received a call that the former legislator had died.

"Mark Too called me 20 minutes before he died," Kuria said.

"We spoke not knowing that it was the last call I would receive from him."

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi said he spoke to the late at exactly 8:08pm on the night of December 31, when he died.

"I remember it was exactly 8:08pm when he spoke," the Senator said.

"The next call I received came from Mr Oscar Sudi (Kapseret MP) that Too had died. I was shocked."

Parliament Majority Leader Aden Duale said he remembers seeing Mr Too at State House hours after Christmas celebrations.

"He came to State House and he was very jovial," said the Garissa Township MP.

"He loved peace and respected everyone."

Too was buried on Monday at his Kapseret farm in Uasin Gishu County.
