Accompanied by Chief Officer Abdulwahab Mbarak, the technical staff drawn from the department of Transport and Infrastructure and Sub-County Administration officers, Rashid received concerns on the need to improve on the general business environment in the markets.

Speaking on Saturday, the CeC affirmed that his department was looking forward to working closely with the market management committee in refurbishing the retail markets.

He said this would create a more conducive trading environment for both the buyers and sellers.
