Three Mitaboni high school students have been arrested after they attempted to burn one of the school dormitories in the early morning of July 5.

The arrest was confirmed by Mitaboni chief Joshua Mumo Wambua.

The three reportedly used diesel in burning the dormitory and that they were arrested in the school compound on July 6 and handed over to Kathiani police station. 

Wambua also asked other students and teachers to help in identifying such students for them to be punished citing that they are dangerous in any institutions and can cause great damages plus loss of lives. 

Further investigations have kicked off to determine whether the three are guilty or not before they are arraigned in court to be charged.
