Three students of Kambala Girls secondary school in Molo have been arraigned before a Molo court for allegedly setting a dormitory on fire on the June 8, 2016.

Caroline Momanyi, 16, Mercy Wangui,17 and Emma Kipchumba, 16, were charged with arson contrary to section 332 of the penal code.

The charge sheet read that the three, with others not before court, unlawfully set a dormitory belonging to Kambala Girls Secondary school on fire valued at Sh3.2 million.

Appearing before Senior Resident Magistrate Wendy Kagendo, the three pleaded not guilty to the charge and were released on a personal bond of Shs50,000 each.

The Hearing date was set on the 29th, 30th and 31st of August this year where 7 witnesses are set to testify in the case
