Three Tanzanians who were arrested late last week with heroin worth over Sh90 million at Lunga Lunga boarder were on Monday morning arraigned in a Mombasa court.
The trio were arrested in Kwale County by anti-narcotics police detectives with the drugs weighing 30kgs, packed in three suitcases.
The three who were in their mid-40s were in a Mombasa bound bus from Tanzania through the Lunga Lunga boarder.
Head of the anti-narcotics unit in Kwale Khamis Massa said the suspects were among the wanted criminals who traffic drugs across Kenya and Tanzania.
They were taken to Port police station on Friday before being arraigned in a Mombasa Court on Monday.
