1. Pregnancy occurs during 5-6 days of your cycle

Women need to know that they are not fertile all the time. A woman can only become pregnant in 5-6 days of her cycles. During these days, the cervix normally opens up, becomes soft and starts producing mucus. The mucus can be white and sticky in texture. The mucus production normally creates an ideal environment for reproduction. It not only nourishes the sperm but also gives them more energy.

2. The cervix and vagina kill the sperm when you have no mucus

Mucus is essential for fertilization to take place. The cervix and vagina will work together in order to kill the sperm in the event that there is no mucus. Lack of mucus means there is no necessary environment for reproduction to take place in your body
