Ford-Kenya candidate for Bungoma gubernatorial seat Mr Wycliffe Wangamati is the man to beat in the race after results from one polling station started trickling in.

Wangamati is enjoying a slender lead of 98 votes ahead of incumbent governor Ken Lusaka.

Lusaka is defending the seat on a Jubilee Party ticket.
