A tight schedule awaits Kenya's rugby sevens team from next week.
The Kenyan team started on a low note after losing one of their two matches played on Saturday morning.
Shujaa lost to New Zealand with a margin of 33. As New Zealand beat Shujaa by 40-7, Canada had to bow to Kenya in another match of the same pool.
The Shujaa beat Canada 26-10.
However, despite the low start due to fatigue after a busy schedule in Vancouver and Hong Kong, Kenya still has a tight fixture ahead of them.
After the Gold Coast rugby tournament, Kenya 7s will head to Singapore where they are expected to take part in Singapore sevens from 28th-29th of April.
In Singapore, Shujaa have been drawn in pool B against England, France, and the USA.
After Singapore, Shujaa will also take part in the final two legs in London and Paris. The team which now looks fatigued after they recently participated in Vancouver and Hong Kong is out to win gold battle in the Australia tournament.
Shujaa is now sitting at position 7 in the HSBC Sevens Series ranking after gaining 38 points in Vancouver and Hong Kong that pushed their total points to 83.
The next in their Commonwealth gold quest is Zambia sevens where Kenya is expected to win if they are to participate in quarters to be held tomorrow.
