Police in Tigoni, Limuru sub-county have launched a manhunt for the killers of a middle-aged man whose body was found dumped along the road side.
The body of the man was discovered along the Tigoni-Limuru road by villagers on Saturday evening.
The man is said to have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped on the road.
Confirming the incident, Limuru police boss Mohammed Bakuli said police are looking into the matter and have already launched investigations.
Bakuli said that the body of the deceased had no scars and that he might have been strangled to death.
“We are probing an incident where a body of a middle-aged man was found dumped along the Tigoni road,” he said.
The police boss said that investigators are underway to identify the deceased and the motive behind his killing.
Following the incident, Bakuli said that security will be intensified in the area.
He urged residents to work with the police and provide information on the whereabouts of criminals.
The police boss put criminals in the area on notice stating their days are numbered.
The body of the deceased was taken to Kijabe Mortuary.
