Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has promised to work closely with his electorate in fostering development in his constituency.
Addressing a public rally in Manga stadium on Sunday during his homecoming after being released from police custody at Pangani police station over two weeks ago, Bosire said he is ready to work with his constituents in realising growth.
He was among eight legislators who were detained for four days and charged in court with hate speech. They were all released on bond.
"My people, I have witnessed today the great love you have for me as your area MP and I promise to be honest and work with you in realising development.," said Bosire.
The ODM national treasurer further urged all Gusii leaders to be united as one people ahead of next year's general election.
"I humbly urge all you leaders from Gusiiland to be united despite our political affiliations so as we don't antagonise each other ahead of the next general election," added Bosire.
