"I have done a lot for the people of Moiben constituency. Therefore I am urging them to give me a second term," he said.

Speaking to journalists in Eldoret town on Sunday, Tiren told the residents that he was going for a second term to ensure the all projects started are completed in the next five years.

"Five years were not enough to complete projects such as schools and roads. Therefore, if given a chance I will complete them," he added.

Tiren further urged Moiben residents to choose leaders not based on their tribal affiliation but their development records, and said that he was assured of re-election basing on his record.

"I have done a lot. Anybody wanting to unseat me should be ready for a tight race since it won't be easy for them as my development record says it all," he said.
