The Chairman of TNA Nakuru County Abdul Nur has said that the MCAs who fought in the Nakuru County Assembly are a shame to the Jubilee Government.
Speaking in Nakuru town on Friday, Nur said that the people of Nakuru County did not elect the MCAs to go and fight in the assembly, and instead should bring development in their wards.
“The MCAs are fighting among themselves and yet we know very well that they belong to the same party. They have really brought shame to the TNA party and they should apologise publicly,” said Nur.
Trouble started when a group of MCAs, who are believed to be allied to the Majority leader Waithuki, attempted to disrupt the session by grabbing the mace from the sergeant at arms.
“This is very bad, they MCAs should be a good example to the people they represent, and they should go ahead and act in a manner that will appeal to the public. They displayed a very bad picture not only to the public but also to our growing children,” added Nur.
Nur further urged the general public to next time be careful when voting for their leaders, saying they should ensure that they vote for credible leaders only
