TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo said the statements if verified to be true are unfortunate.

“I have read and heard through the media the statements uttered by MPs allied to TNA, if the utterances are verified to be true then I am sorry, they are out of order,” he said.

Oloo said the three MPs, Moses Kuria, Ferdinand Waititu and Onesmus Ngunjiri, who are members of TNA party did not speak for the party.

Addressing a press conference in Kisumu on Monday, Oloo said the statements are individual and should not be viewed as the stand of the party.

Oloo said if it is found that the utterances were uttered then the relevant authorities must take appropriate action.

He said the law should deal with those who are out to spread animosity and hatred regardless of their political status in the country.

“This country is bigger than an individual and let those who are war mongering to be brought to book,” he said.

Kisumu County TNA chairman Titus Ondu said the statements were in bad faith and likely to cause chaos in the country.

Ondu urged TNA to take action against the three MPs and if possible be arraigned in court.
