Officials of TNA in Nakuru county have all welcomed the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a committee which will solve the differences and disputes of the MCAs in the county.
Speaking to the press yesterday while at his office in Nakuru, TNA county chairman Abdul Noor said that they were very optimistic about the committee coming up with a lasting solution .
"We are very hopeful that this committee will be an answer to all our issues. We need to have a long lasting solution so that we can stop the constant fighting and argument which add no values to our electorate,” Abdul Noor said.
Abdul Noor went ahead and said that the recent fighting in the county assembly had tarnished the County's image.
"It was very bad of the MCAs fighting instead of coming up with a solution. We have even been forced to close some of the offices for example the TNA office in Milimani is now closed. It is a very good idea from the President to form this committee which is going to look into the various problems which are facing the MCAs in this county and also comes up with a solution to the problems,” Noor said.
Abdul Noor also added that they were going to make some recommendations to the committee to be incorporated in the final report..
“I also asks all the MCAs to focuss on development issues instead of attacking each other for no reason. They should ensure that they honor the pledges that they made to their people and stop politicking for no reason,” Noor said.
