The National Alliance (TNA) has extended an olive branch to the opposition for a dialogue after the chaotic anti-IEBC protests entered week four.
TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo has welcomed the opposition for a dialogue which must have a parliamentary backing.
"We welcome the opposition to have a dialogue with us only if it shall have backing with the parliament. The opposition should hence call of their weekly anti-IEBC protests in every part of the country," said Oloo.
He condemned Cord’s protests especially due to setting ablaze structures on Monday at Kibra where TNA offices were burned down.
"We want to express our displeasure with the way the demonstrations are being conducted. There needs sobriety to avoid interfering with other people's rights and freedom. There is no Kenyan who is supposed to enjoy rights beyond the other," said the TNA chair.
