For the opposition party, Orange Democratic Movement, ODM to have a clear and sure shot at the presidency in next year's general elections, they will have to find a way of curbing Jubilee's tyranny of numbers.
This they can achieve by getting a huge chunk of Rift Valley votes or Central region votes or both.
This, in other words, means that the opposition should camp day and night in Rift valley and Central regions during their campaigns to woo as many voters as possible.
However, there seems to be a problem. The National Alliance Party, TNA of Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy president William Ruto's United Republican Party are set to merge into one party that shall be called Joint Alliance Party, JAP.
This move, clearly, is meant to consolidate Rift Valley and Central region votes in a bid to maintain tyranny of numbers.
This will prove to be a hard nut to crack and the opposition should act fast to formulate strategies to counteract this merger.
This is the time the opposition party should remain strongly united.
