Nyamira Senator Mong’are Okong’o has yet again hit on his social media critics saying the medium does not define his parliamentarian roles.
Mong’are further insisted his commitment to tackle real issues affecting people without prejudices or discrimination.
“Let me inform some busy bodies whose narrow scope gravitates on criticism. Social media is not an official’s account page for my role as Nyamira leader. My strong and straight talk to some issues is sometimes misconstrued,” read his Facebook post.
“I have never and will never stoop to mediocrity or pretend to massage some twisted ego for the sake of votes,” he said.
The controversial Ford Kenya senator skipped a function attended by his BOSS, Moses Wetangula on Sunday despite reports indicating that he was within the county.
