Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko has ordered for the immediate arrest and prosecution of Kandara MP Alice Wahome.

In a letter to police boss Joseph Boinnet, Keriako said circulating online suggest the MP might have committed an electoral offence.

"Our attention has been drawn by a clip circulating social media depicting Hon Alice Wahome MP Kandara obstructing/and assaulting an IEBC official on the 27th October, 2017," Tobiko said in a letter. 

He added: "We recommend investovations that will see the MP arrested and charged."
