New environment Cabinet Secretary Keriako Tobiko has resumed his duties officially.
Speaking on Monday after taking over from outgoing CS Judy Wakhungu, Tobiko called on his employees to step up or resign.
The former Director of Public Prosecution stated the pressure from President Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver will require all employees to deliver.
"This is time for no showbiz. We have to purpose to deliver that which we are mandated to. Just as my boss mounts pressure on me, I expect that all the staff will work above board to deliver," he said.
Tobiko stated he will be happy tp receive resignation letters from staff at the ministry anytime.
"If you feel the weight is too much you are allowed to quit. I will be happy to receive your resignations," said Tobiko.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday, told new cabinet members that if they cant deliver, the resigantion door was open.
Wakhungu will now represent Kenya as the new ambassador to France.
