Daraja Mbili market traders are crying after a lorry carrying their tomatoes from Narok to Kisii, lost control at Bobaracho in the outskirts of Kisii town, rolling into John Nyambega’s homestead on Wednesday.

The lorry was ferrying the perishable goods to Daraja Mbili market ahead of the market day.

The tomatoes belonged to twenty business ladies who burst into tears on hearing of the unfortunate incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the lorry was speeding and it veered off the road ramming into the homestead.
