Residents are enjoying buying tomatoes at cheap prices than before.

In the last months, the price of tomatoes has been at the peak where traders sold tomato at Sh5 – Sh10 but now 5 large size tomatoes retail at Sh20 as 5 small size tomatoes retail at Sh10.

The drop in price is due to the increased supply of the commodity in the market.

Since the prices dropped 4 days ago at Laini Saba market, residents in the slums have been enjoying buying tomatoes as traders go round the market hawking the tomatoes.
