Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has been hailed at the best performing MP from the entire Gusii region by his CDF committee team.
Tong'i was elected to parliament in a by election after successfully challenging the 2013 election in which Chris Bichage won.
Led by the committee's secretary Monibi Oenga, they said Tong'i had managed to improve infrastructure in the region compared to his predecessors.
"Our MP has only been in power for few years but he has done exceptionally well. He is the best performing MP in the entire Gusii region and we can bet that," he said.
“If our constituents wants real progress in future, we need to re-elect him. He is guided by integrity and passion to serve his people. We are very happy especially on his continuous support to infrastructural development," he added.
Tong'i, a vocal Jubilee supporter, will be facing a tough challenge from Bichage and Robert Monda, who also once served as the area MP.
