Three prominent churches in Kenya are now on Kenya Revenue Authority’s list of top taxpayers due to their flourishing business.

This is because their businesses hit above annual returns threshold of between Sh350 million and Sh1 billion.

According to a study released by the Standard, these churches are: 

Nairobi Pentecostal Church (NPC)

Seventh Day Adventist Church

Coptic Orthodox Church 

They now join the league that has Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) and construction companies.
