There is no hard thing in communication than when you want to lie. Most people find it hard to lie, while to others, lying is no big deal. Unfortunately, there is no 100% way to determine whether someone is saying the trust or lying.
However, many people behave differently when they lie. If you watch them keenly, you will realise they behave in certain weird ways. Here are simple signs that will tell you someone is lying to you:
Repeat wordsRepetition of words is a great sign someone is lying to you. People repeat words when they are gathering their thoughts on what next to lie. More so, this simply means they have already forgotten what they said earlier on, thus repeating the same thing.
Too much informationPeople who give too much information about an issue to justify their truth. Giving excess and irrelevant information is a sign someone is lying. When a person is lying to you, he/she will give a lot of information thinking with all their openness and talk you might believe them.
It becomes hard for them to speakThe body is very sensitive when you want to lie. The body nervous system will react by decreasing saliva flow to the mouth hence it becomes hard for such people to speak. However, some people can also have such traits even when they want to speak the truth.
Changed breathing rateLying people have a voluntary reflex action which makes them breathe very fast. In most people who are not used to lying, this is a common sign. Such people will have a change in their sound tone and might even speak in a lower tone than they are used to.
Avoid eye contactMost people who lie can’t look you straight into the eye. The quilt they will have for lying cannot allow them to look you straight into the eye. More so, they will be thinking so much of what to lie next to and thus will always avoid eye contact.
