The Nairobi governor tops the list of the richest governors in Kenya. He is a man many people fail to understand, as he is an all-around man. 

Sonko owns many things that bring him his wealth. He has invested in Real estate, stock exchange and even matatu business around the country. 

Many people criticize him because of his lifestyle, source of his wealth and even his academic achievements.

Ali Hassan Joho

The Mombasa governor comes second in the list of the top richest governors. He has a cosy and a stylish lifestyle that attracts many eyes. He owns several apartments, health sectors, logistics and shipping companies and hotels in Mombasa. However, some people criticize his academic achievements and even call him a D material. His achievements dismiss all these claims.

Alfred Mutua

The Machakos governor comes third on this list. Apart from being a governor, he was a lecturer and a civil servant. Currently, he is an active businessman. More so, he served as the government spokesman for 8 years.

Wycliffe Oparanya

The Kakamega governor has many things that bring him his wealth. He has been in local and international financial management, audit and Business consultancy for 23 years now. As Chief financial controller, he worked at Kenya Aerotec Ltd in 2002. He joined politics in the same year and that’s how he has been able to move so fast on top of the list. More so, he has invested in Real estate.

Sospeter Ojaamong

The Busia governor has many things that make him wealthy. He had served as Raila's aide for many years. More so, he has been in active politics for so many years during which he has been able to invest in Real estate across the country.
