Seasoned comedian Erick Omondi of the "hawayuni" fame was a subject to a series o online attacks from Kenyans online after he posted a photo of himself imitating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The photo was apparently taken as part of his video rendition of Sauti Sol's Kuliko jana hit.

Despite captioning a biblical verse from Luke 23:42-43, Omondi could not escape the harsh reaction from social media users who found the post with a bad taste.
