Tuesday, marked the date set by IEBC to conduct elections in three areas in Kenya that include a parliamentary race in Kitutu Chache South and two wards in Nyamira and Garissa counties.
According to IEBC returning officer in Kitutu Chache South, Hilda Imbo the voting began well at 6 am and will run until 5 pm in all the 115 polling centers.
Among the top contenders for the seat include Andrew Maubi (Wiper), Richard Onyonka (Ford Kenya), Samwel Omwando (ODM), Antony Kibagendi (Jubilee), Jimmy Onkangi (PDP), Morara Nyang'au (Kanu) and Justus Mochoge (ANC).
Cases of delays have been reported in some areas in a constituency that has 59,000 registered voters.
