The Nakuru County Assembly special committee set up recently by Speaker Susan Kihika will start questioning the County Public Service Board and the Public Service Management Board heads Tuesday morning.
Those expected to be questioned are PSB chairman Waithanji Mutiti followed by Secretary James Mbugua later in the day.
The ad hoc committee's chairman Dundori MCA Steve Kihara will lead other MCAs in questioning the board's top management over the illegal hiring of county staff.
It was established that the board was involved in the illegal hiring of county staff and engaging in bribery throughout the exercise.
The hearing will commence from 9am at the Nakuru county assembly chambers.
Last month, the speaker ordered a probe into the public service board over allegations of bribery and improper hiring of 25 ward administrators and 11 sub-county administrators in 2014.
The county assembly accused the board of increasing the county's wage bill through hiring of officers who were unhelpful to citizens.
