Kiambu County-based Nova Pioneer Academies has appointed Christopher Khaemba to its management.
The renowned former Alliance High School teacher has been appointed to a full-time role, as director and co-founder.
Nova Pioneer Academies runs currently in Kenya and South Africa.
The school's vision is to produce students who are more prepared for the challenges of the 21st Century.
"Our model of classroom interaction is designed to have students inspired and empowered to pursue the path of discovery trough digging for information and research. This classroom interaction is managed by teachers who are aligned to innovation and leadership," Khaemba told the Nation.
He added: "Every student and schools should look at the broader picture of students' self-discovery and growth."
Kenya is home to Nova Pioneer Boys, Nova Pioneer Girls and Nova Pioneer Primary Schools.
Khaemba propelled Alliance High School to academic excellence before moving to South Africa where he was the principal of the African Leadership Academy.
In 2013, the educationist was appointed by the then Governor of Nairobi Evans Kidero as County Executive Committee member in charge of Education.
