Being one of the most attractive and famous country in the world, Kenya has attracted top world figures and this has made it visible on the word map. Among the notable figures that have visited Kenya are Obama , Israels Prime Minister Netanyahu among other top world leaders. However, there is also an usual category of visitors that have come to witness this beautiful country and they are English Premier league stars. Below are five EPL stars that once visited Kenya.
1. Pep Guardiola. The Manchester City coach once came to Kenya for a family holiday. Guardiola who was by then Bayern Munich Coach was accompanied by his wife Cristina Serra, and children Maria Guardiola, Marius Guardiola and Valentina Guardiola. He was warmly welcomed by Governor Joho and immediately after landing at JKIA he went to Masai Mara national park. Mourinho was accompanied by his wife Matilde Faria and two children Jose Mario Mourinho Jr. and Matilde Mourinho. During there stay in Kenya, Mourinho met a Kenyan girl Lelesit Silvana whom they fell in love. Mourinho then threatened to divorce his wife for Silvana.
3. Yaya Toure The well talented Manchester City player came to Kenya on March 2015 on the courtesy if Coca Cola promotion tourage. The Ivory Coast player spend his time at Diani beach and also visited Shimba Hills. He is still playing for Manchester City and his numerous has seen him continue to stay at Manchester City.
4. Divoc Origi. The EPL forward star who currently plays for Vfl Wolfsburg has visited Kenya at various occasions on family matters. He's probably one of well celebrated footballer in the English premier league. His last visit to Kenya was in 2010 where he paid his brother Arnold Origi a visit in Nairobi.
5. Jay-Jay Okocha. He's one of the African football legends that have made Africa proud in the EPL. The seven times based Nigerian footballer, 2003 English premier league player of the month and the 2004 BBC African footballer of the year visited Kenya on March last year. Now you've seen and known.
