[Photo/ the-star.co.ke]Jubilee Coast Coordinator Farid Swaleh has rubbished claims that he intends to join the opposition’s National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.Speaking during a press conference in Mombasa on Friday, Swaleh claimed that a section of members in the party have been frustrating him with the aim of forcing him to ditch the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led party."The frustrations that have been meted out to force me to shift allegiance to the opposition are driven by selfishness. This is a sinister motive,” said Swaleh.Swaleh also accused some members of failing to invite him to party meetings in a bid to discredit him and humiliate him before the President."I have been loyal to the party and I will campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election but busy bodies have been given priority,” he added. The coordinator said he attended a Jubilee leaders meeting at State House, Nairobi last week, and expressed optimism that the party will garner more votes in the repeat presidential elections slated for October 26, 2017.
