President Uhuru Kenyatta has received boost in his re-election bid ahead of the August 8 polls.

This is after a section of top Kenyan celebrities took to social media to endorse him for a second term in the State House race.

Through instagram on Friday, Media personality Grace Msalame, comedians Chipukeezy and Ogaobina and Gospel artistes Size8, are amongst celebrities who declared their support for the Jubilee leader.

Using the hash tag #UhuruNiWetu, Msalame wrote, “And you Know when it’s time to take a stand, God calls us to either be hot or cold for if we are lukewarm he will spit us out.”

Other celebrities who took to YouTube to campaign for the president are musicians’ Roughtone, Bahati, Frasha, among others.

Also those campaigning for Uhuru’s re-election bid on YouTube are known vernacular musicians who include Loise Kim and Ben Githae  from the Mt Kenya region, singer Amos Barasa from the western region and Ally B from the coastal region among others.
