The whole nation is glued on the historic presidential petition taking place at the highest court in the land as legal minds battle it out to ensure their clients win in the petition bringing in NASA leader Raila Odinga, President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta, IEBC, and IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
However, Senior counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi who is representing President Uhuru Kenyatta has complained that the atmosphere in the court is not conducive given the limited space in the court room.
"Since there are a lot of parties here and there is a lot of documentation, could the court kindly facilitate a better environment that this," said Abdullahi.
The flamboyant lawyer claimed that the cramped manner in the court is affecting the quality of the case, hence the number of lawyers occupying the front seats should be reduced.
Abdullahi suggested that the court should adopt a format where each of the three parties in the case should be allowed to have two or three lawyers at the front seat when they are making oral submissions.
