Lawyer Nelson Havi broken his silence after reports emerged that he was no longer representing lawyer Miguna Miguna.
Speaking on Saturday, Havi did not either confirm or deny the allegations.
He stated that such information was confidentials.
"An issue between a lawyer and his client are confidential and therefore I cannot answer any of your questions," Havi is quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.
There have been claims that the former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) presidential candidatehas left the Canada-based barrister's legal team a few days before his coming back to the country.
Miguna is expected to land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on 16 May 2018.
On Wednesday, the Kenya National Human Rights Commission (KNHRC) urged thegovernment to facilitate the return of the self-declared general.
Miguna was deported to Canada over his role in the swearing in of NASA leader Raila Odinga.
